![]() ![]() Sure, some of the money making minigames were boring, some of the graphics were weak, the story was anticlimactic, there were A.I. The game had massive appeal, replay value, and tons of options and entertainment to be had. I think Fable 2 has plenty of flaws, but it had the capacity to get me addicted, my friends addicted, even my girlfriend got obsessed with that game and built up a very formidable 100% Pure / Good, scarless female will user with a family and huge real estate empire. For me, a perfect score should reflect a game that has a huge appeal to a wide audience, has the capacity to convert all kinds of gamers and non-gamers to it, and provides at minimum as many hours of entertainment (replay value taken into consideration) as the number of dollars in its price tag. I'm personally glad they gave Fable 2 a 10 out of 10. Like their scores for LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, etc. I agree with a lot of their other scores, though. They gave an 8 out of 10 to MGS4, which I'd also give a 10, but that's a minor discrepancy, they still gave it a good score. They gave a 5 out of 10 to Folklore, while I'd give it a 10 out of 10. I think Edge is out of line on a lot of their reviews (particularly the PS3 exclusive FPS games), but I never really disagree with Eurogamer. Actually, I quite agree with this assessment.
